  1. Flash-Bios-Update for HOT-539P PCI-Mainboards

  4. Attention:
  5. This file may not be up to date.
  6. We are not liable for any damages caused by the bios-update.
  7.  
  8. 1) Programming voltage for SST- or Winbond-Chip is 5V (default).
  9. 2) disable EMM386.EXE driver or other memory manager (CONFIG.SYS).
  10. 3) start Bios-Setup: Chipset Setup - Main BIOS Cacheable: non-cacheable
  11.    (disable Bios-Caching if possible)
  12. 4) Start programming tool as follow:
  13.    - FLASH465 539AIP17.ROM (actual BIOS = AMI)
  14.    - AWDFLASH 539AIP17.ROM (actual BIOS = AWARD)

  16. The BIOS display its Version on the screen while booting: 
  17. "...-0117-..." for Version 17
